Sports Goggles
Does my 6 year old need sports goggles/glasses to play soccer?
She has very very bad eyesight..she cannot see two feet in front of her without her glasses, therefore playing soccer without them is out of the question. I am sure they won't be playing any "real" soccer, but for safety's sake, should she wear sports goggles or her glasses should be fine? The will be indoors. She uses them for school in gym and has not been a problem, but these particular pair of glasses with her prescription were $350. and it's the third pair I get her in 3 years, just from normal wear and tear and accidents. We do plan on keeping her in sports basically for the rest of her childhood/teen life...so considering that, So, should I get the sports goggles and if I should, then where do I get them from. There is no store in my area that has them. Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated!
Sports goggles would be a good idea, she may not like them but it would be for the best. There is a store called Dicks sporting goods that you could possibly look into and there is also a store called Academy sports and outdoors, both of which are terrific stores but if you still cant find them try searching for them on the web im sure you would be able to find them relatively easily on the internet. Keep your kid and her glasses safe buy goggles
