How can I stop armpit chafing when surfing?
I wear a wetsuit when I go surfing, and I surf pretty much every day. However, since the past couple of days, my armpits have been chafing from paddling. I think that it's the wetsuit rubbing against the skin of my armpit. It's gotten to the point where it's very painful to apply deodorant or paddle. I've tried wearing a rash guard beneath my wetsuit, but that didn't help.
you can probably stick on some fabric to the inside of the wetsuit which should cover the part which is irritating, which is probably a seam, which should at least lessen the irritation.
if its still uncomfortable then try a thicker rash vest, make sure that the wetsuit/rash vest are not bunching up at the joint as that can irritate.
