Moose, As a new wake board rider I did not get any air, but my brother was clearing the wake easily, He noted the boards stability and its ability to almost stick to the water. And when it is air time there is plenty of control to pull hard and fly. It took me 5 tries to get up. It wasn't the boards fault, I was used to getting up the skiing way, pull back and dig in. What worked for me was to lean forward, get the tip slightly up and keep 1/3 of the side of the board out of the water, press my back foot down and flip the top around, and in about 3 sec I was up and out. I thought the board was stable, but I admit I was going pretty stable. My first time up I rode for a good 15 min with no wipe outs. I eventually got tired and quit. I was cutting good and the boots work great. They keep a good grip on your foot, yet they are easy to get on and off, without the need to use soap, to slip the foot in.
